Western Sydney Respiratory and Sleep Services is a medical group practice that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory and sleep disorders. We conduct diagnostic tests including formal pulmonary function tests, therapeutic sleep studies and are able to provide services for bronchoscopy if required.



Dr. Tim Dinihan

Dr Timothy Dinihan is a college-recognised Respiratory and ​Sleep Medicine specialist. He completed his undergraduate ​medical degree at Bond University in Queensland, and then ​completed his basic and specialist medical training at ​Westmead and Blacktown Hospital. Dr Dinihan then went on to ​complete an interstate post-graduate fellowship at Sir Charles ​Gairdner Hospital in Perth, focusing on the areas of lung cancer ​diagnosis and management, as well as interventional ​procedures including bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound ​and pleural procedures. He worked alongside many of the ​prominent names in these fields, including Prof Martin Phillips ​and Prof Gary Lee. Dr Dinihan’s practice is focused on ​delivering excellent respiratory and sleep medicine care to the ​local community, and is equipped with its own lung function lab, ​as well as the capabilities to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic ​sleep services. Regardless of where you see Dr Dinihan, his ​comprehensive and considerate approach will always be ​focused on your needs as a patient.

Dr. Girish Patel

Dr. Girish Patel is an experienced Respiratory physician with commitment to providing a comprehensive consultation service for investigation and management of all aspects Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Patel has a special interest in pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, bronchoscopy and treatment of sleep disorders. He obtained MBBS and MD (Thoracic Medicine) degrees from India in 2002. He completed physician training through Liverpool Hospital and advanced training in Respiratory Medicine from Campbelltown, Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals. He is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr. Ben Kolevski

Dr Ben Kolevski is a college-recognised Respiratory ​and Sleep Medicine specialist. He completed his ​medical degree at Sydney University followed by his ​basic and specialist training at RPA Hospital, ​Westmead Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital. ​Dr Kolevski is a Staff Specialist in Respiratory and ​Sleep medicine at Liverpool Hospital. His practice ​covers a wide range of respiratory and sleep ​conditions with a special interest in lung cancer, ​bronchiectasis, lung infections and airways disease

Dr. Imran Haque

Dr Imran Haque is a college-recognised Respiratory and Sleep Medicine specialist. He completed his initial medical training at the University of Sydney where he also majored in Physiology and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Scholarship. He then completed his basic and specialist medical training in Western Sydney, predominantly in Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals whereupon he also won Westmead Hospital's Registrar of the Year award.

Dr Haque has an avid interest in complex ventilation disorders and sleep disordered breathing, non invasive ventilation, bronchiectasis, thromboembolic disease and asthma and connective tissue disease associated lung disease and tuberculosis.

Dr Haque’s focus is to deliver excellent respiratory and sleep medicine care to the local community and work with patients, junior doctors and general practitioners locally to obtain the best results. His focus is on being approachable and always placing the rights and needs of the patient first. In addition to English, Dr Haque is also able to speak Bengali.

Dr. Michael Han

Dr Michael Han is an adult respiratory and sleep physician. He graduated from the University of NSW and completed specialist training at Canberra, Sutherland and Concord Hospitals. Dr Han looks after patients with a range of respiratory and sleep conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and sleep disorders. He speaks English and Mandarin.


Dr. Arnab Chatterjee

Dr Arnab Chatterjee is an adult Respiratory and Sleep physician. He ​completed his postgraduate medical degree at the University of ​Wollongong, before starting his training at Westmead and Royal North ​Shore Hospitals. He then completed his specialist training at Liverpool ​and St George Hospitals. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian ​College of Physicians and a member of Thoracic Society of Australia and ​New Zealand.


Dr Chatterjee has a keen interest in airways disorders (asthma and ​COPD), lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, thromboembolic disease ​and sleep-related disorders. Dr Chatterjee is compassionate and ​approachable, and provides comprehensive care by working together ​with patients and other professionals in the healthcare team. He speaks ​English and Bengali.

They have links to a variety of public and private hospitals to facilitate ongoing care whether as an inpatient or as an outpatient.

  • Any scans including Xrays and CT scans
  • Previous blood tests (if available)
  • Medication List
  • If you use a CPAP machine, please bring the machine in to the appointment.
  • If you were recently discharged from a hospital, please bring your discharge paperwork from the hospital.
